In the first scenario 1 factory will have the same 50% cap on efficiency, while the other will grow to 25% But the second scenario where adding one factory dropped the total efficiency to 25, after the same amount of time. It will be back at 50% again. Meaning 2 factories at 50% So. If you attack with 4, all four will attack at 90% efficiency. If you should chose to attack with 12 divisions, all units will have a penalty of (12-3)x10 = 90 percent! This doesn't mean that one should never attack with more divisions than the limit.

Content that breaks the spirit of these rules may be removed at moderator discretion. If you have a line with only 1 factory at 50% efficiency.
And add another the math will be. 1 factory at 50% plus 1 factory at 0 divided by 2 = 25% efficiency. So adding one line for each factory doesn't matter on the drop of efficiency. Having 1 factory at 50 and another at 0 or 2 at 25 will be the same.BUTI think efficiency grows constantly.
So even if at the start they will be the same they will not after a while. In the first scenario 1 factory will have the same 50% cap on efficiency, while the other will grow to 25%But the second scenario where adding one factory dropped the total efficiency to 25, after the same amount of time. It will be back at 50% again. Meaning 2 factories at 50%So.
Even so at the start there's no difference between starting a new line or adding factories. After some time adding new factories will be better.
